FOURTEENTH  SAN ANTONIO POETRY FAIR in 2011
CONTEST DETAILS FOR STUDENTS - - KINDERGARTEN / COLLEGE:

NO ENTRY FEE

DEADLINE TO ENTER: JUNE 15, 2020

Two different contest categories are available to enter this year. Trophies will be awarded for 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place winners in the San Antonio Poetry Fair Awards, and cash awards will be granted in the POINT OF THE MOON contests for the Science and Technology Field. Certificates are awarded for Honorable Mentions in all contests.   All winning poems will be published in the anthology, as well as some selected others.  Rules for all contests are the same.

Poems may be on any subject for the SAPF student contests but must be on the subject of Science and Technology for the Point of the Moon contest.

Submission of a poem will be considered as declaration that the poem is entirely the original work of the stated author and that all quotations have been properly credited.

Submission of a poem is also considered to be automatic permission to print it, if selected, in the anthology and to video record its presentation at the Fair.

Winners are expected to read the poem at the Fair in the fall or have someone represent them.  Awards are presented only at the Fair.  They cannot be picked up after.

Winners will be notified in late summer with the date and exact time of the Fair.  Date and time of Fair can be verified on this site in early October.

All winning poems and other worthy poems will be published in the Fair anthology, VOICES ALONG THE RIVER, which can be purchased at the Fair or by mail.
